В чем польза от открытых образовательных ресурсов?

Для сторонников открытого образования появился инструмент, помогающий точно рассчитать, сколько пользы и прибыли может принести отказ от учебников в том или ином учебном заведении.

 OER Adoption Impact Explorer — что-то вроде интерактивной инфографики о преимуществах применения открытых образовательных ресурсов (OER). Если многие учителя уже уверены, что статьи из интернет-энциклопедий и образовательные онлайн-игры могут предоставлять более актуальную и качественную информацию, нежели единые для всех учебники, то убедить в этом администрацию совсем не просто. Но новый инструмент позволит предоставить достаточно мощный аргумент — количество средств, которые можно сэкономить при переходе на OER. Нужно лишь выставить количество учащихся, стоимость учебников и другие данные, чтобы получить на выходе индивидуальные графики, способные убедить любого.
